What is bleed?

Bleed is a term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the trimline and onto excess paper. Bleed ensures that no unprinted edges occur in the final trimmed document. If you want your color to go all the way to the edge of the paper, you must provide “bleed” in your file that goes beyond the crop marked border.

We require 1/8″ minimum bleed if you intend that the image goes all the way to the edge of the trimmed page.
